Are you interested in enhancing your knowledge and understanding of economic development tools? Becoming confident in the creation, negotiation, and enforcement of development agreements? Have the opportunity to network with community leaders and officials?
Hamline’s Economic Development Certificate program examines the economic development process from both government agency and private sector perspectives, and will give up the necessary critical knowledge and skills to succeed. The Minnesota Economic Development Foundation is pleased to announce there are funds available to support EDAM members who are interested in pursuing this opportunity.
Certificate classes meet at Hamline’s Minneapolis location. All students must complete 90 hours of training in seven monthly sessions over an eight-month period. Students who complete the Economic Development coursework receive a certificate from the Hamline University School of Business Public Administration program and eight continuing studies credits.

The class meets one Thursday each month from 2 to 8 p.m. and the following Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dinner on Thursday and continental breakfast and lunch on Friday are included.
