Terrell Towers Memorial Professional Development Support Terrell Towers, a highly influential Minnesota economic development professional, passed away in 2020 at the age of 73. Terrell held several roles in banking, state government, and local government, including leadership roles with the Minneapolis Community Development Agency and Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development. In Terrell’s honor, MNEDF has established the Terrell Towers Memorial to help elevate emerging Minnesota BIPOC economic development professionals in the profession. Multi-year support is tailored to individual situations and can be used for International Economic Development Council (IEDC) courses, IEDC conferences, Hamline University economic development and housing certificate courses, leadership development, and other opportunities as determined in consultation with MNEDF volunteer mentors.
