Zach Kramka recently completed his internship with the City of Fridley. Here is what he had to say about the experience:
“One of the highlights of the summer was working on the City’s successful Minnesota Investment Fund application. This program is administered through the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, and it helped provide incentives for a new business to relocate into our community. I was given the opportunity to experience so many dimensions of local government and economic development this summer. I predict that these experiences will be invaluable for me once I begin a full-time career”.
Statement from Paul Bolin, City of Fridley HRA
“Thanks to the assistance from the MNEDF, we had the pleasure of working with Zach Kramka this past summer as an Economic Development Intern for the City and its Housing & Redevelopment Authority. In addition to taking the lead on the City’s business retention program, and a MIF application, Zach worked on several other economic development efforts for the City”.
