Given the challenging times our communities are facing, for a second time in 2020, the Minnesota Economic Development Foundation is pleased to announce one thousand dollar ($1,000) grants are available to EDAM Members to cover a portion of the cost to employ an economic development intern.
Internship grants are awarded based on a competitive review process and will be evaluated using the following criteria:
- Employer must spend at least $2,000 on direct intern compensation.
- Quality of the proposed work tasks and exposure to economic development projects.
- Program of supervision and mentorship opportunities.
- Must be an EDAM member to apply for internship grant.
