Amy Patnode finishes internship at the City of Eagan

Posted by Christie on January 9, 2017

amy-patnode-pictureInterning for the City of Eagan was my first, out-of-school, real world experience. Being able to be a part of a big metropolitan city enabled me to envision and utilize my textbook knowledge and navigate through real world situations. Looking back on my experience, I value Eagan’s strong communication throughout all departments at the city. Aside from exemplary communication skills, I learned about the municipal approval process, development agreements and site plan approvals. Eagan has given me a reference of how a well-run city operates, and how every department has its role to ensure a job well done.
